Lady’s Tex-Mex
She says: Despite dining at Maudie’s a handful of times, I did not notice the fantastic lighter fare option until last night. The “Ladies Plate” comes with one taco (soft or crispy, chicken or beef) and a guacamole salad. The size and simplicity of the dish are spot on. It’s only adorned with a light sprinking of cheese and some diced tomatoes. For an extra punch, I like dressing mine with the restaurant’s spicy salsa. Rumor has it that it’s perfectly acceptible to be creative when ordering this as a “Man’s Plate.” Now everyone can save calories…treat yourself to another margarita.
